Lose Now ("we", "our", or "the app") is operated by Futuron Inc. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our iOS application.
Information You Provide: When you use Lose Now, you may optionally provide personal information such as your name, weight, height, dietary goals, calorie targets, diet style preferences, and activity level. This information is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
Food Photos: When you use the photo analysis or menu scanning features, images are sent to Google's Gemini AI service for nutritional analysis. Google does not retain these images after processing. We do not store these images on our servers.
Chat Messages: Your conversations with the AI diet coach are sent to Anthropic's Claude AI service for processing. Chat history is stored locally on your device as daily log files. Anthropic does not retain your messages after processing.
Food Log Data: Your daily food entries and calorie tracking data are stored locally on your device.
All personal data, chat history, food logs, and preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not maintain user accounts or store your data on external servers. Deleting the app will remove all locally stored data.

Lose Now uses third-party AI services to provide its core features. Before accessing any AI-powered features, the app displays a consent screen explaining what data is sent and to whom. By using these features, you agree to the following:
All data is transmitted securely via HTTPS. Neither Anthropic nor Google retains your data after processing. Your data is never sold or shared for advertising purposes.
Lose Now offers auto-renewable subscriptions managed through Apple's App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
Lose Now is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Since your data is stored locally on your device, it is protected by your device's built-in security features, including passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
